Six Ways to Make a Buzzing Garden This Spring!

Don't use pesticides! Chemicals like pesticides and insecticides can kill your bees. We rely on bees to do our pollinating and we should treat them with respect. When possible, try to hand-pick (or use natural solutions) for pest and weed control. Plant LOTS of flowers: bees use flowers to get sugar and proteins from the nectar and pollen in the flowers. These are necessary for them to grow into healthy and buzzing bees! It is important to choose a variety of plants that bloom at different times so there is always some food available.
